Bespoke Books

A book written specifically for you

Bespoke Books is a series in which I craft and write a unique book by hand, in a single draft, for an individual reader, event, or residency. As I compose each text on demand, it directly reflects my experience of the place and time in which I write it.

The books are hand-stitched, roughly A6 in size, 16 pages in length, and when commissioned for a performance result in a 15-20 minute live reading, suitable for a poetry series, a gallery event, or an opening act for a musical performance.

Each person or venue that commissions a Bespoke Book will receive the original handwritten manuscript, which is the only physical copy of the text, as well as the right to authorize any further reproduction of its contents. I also sometimes write non-commissioned Bespoke Books for my tour performances, which I later put up for sale here on my website.
